The Folegandros to Serifos ferry route is one of the more rewarding connections in the western Cyclades, linking two islands that remain genuinely off the beaten track despite their considerable appeal. If you’re travelling between these two destinations, the ferry is your only practical option — and it’s a fine one, with open water views and the kind of slow pace that reminds you why the islands are worth visiting in the first place.
The route runs from March through to the end of October. At peak summer you can count on around 1 to 3 departures per day, with frequency dropping back to around 1 per day during the quieter shoulder months at either end of the season.
