The Ios to Tinos ferry route links two of the Cyclades’ most rewarding islands — party-loving Ios in the south and the deeply spiritual, marble-rich Tinos further north. It is a crossing that takes you from one mood of the Greek islands to another entirely. Ferries run from May through to October, so there is no winter service on this route.
During the season you can count on around two ferries a day in peak summer, with the shoulder months of May and October seeing slightly thinner scheduling. Book ahead in July and August when demand across the Cyclades runs high.
