The Naxos to Andros ferry route is one of the quieter Cyclades crossings, linking the largest island in the group with the northernmost, and the contrast between the two makes the journey worth making. Naxos is broad and mountainous, built for lingering; Andros is aristocratic and understated, a world apart from the busier tourist circuits. Getting between them by ferry is the natural way to travel.
Ferries run daily throughout the season, from April to October. Outside those months, there is no service, so timing your trip matters. During the season you can count on around one departure per day.
